How do I turn on my GPS?

Sharing your location information allows Squirt.org to provide you with search results that are tailored specifically to your area. Make sure location services are turned on for your device and that you have given your browser and Squirt.org permission to access your location data.

To enable Location Services on your device, follow the instructions below:

For iOS Devices:

Go to your Settings App > Privacy > Location Services and toggle the switch to enable it. Then, scroll down and ensure that your browser and Squirt.org are set to, “While Using the App” or “Always”, for location access. 

For Android Devices:

Go to your Settings App > Location > App Permissions and make sure your browser app and Squirt.org have permission to access your location. Additionally, ensure that GPS is enabled by going to Settings > Location > App Permissions, and opting to use the “precise location” option found in your browser app settings.

For Desktop Browsers:

  1. Open your browser settings by clicking on the menu icon in the top right corner of the browser window.

  2. Scroll down and click on “Settings” or “Preferences” to access the browser's settings menu.

  3. Look for the “Privacy & Security” section and click on it.

  4. Within this section, you should find an option for “Site Settings” or something similar.

  5. Scroll down and click Location

  6. Enable Location Services by toggling the switch or checkbox next to it.
