If you recently updated your iPhone to iOS 26 and are having trouble logging into Squirt, this is likely due to new privacy and security protections introduced by Apple.
In particular, the issue can occur when, Prevent Cross-Site Tracking is enabled in Safari and you’re trying to log in using a Private/Incognito Safari window
Below are two ways to resolve the issue, depending on how you prefer to use Safari.
Option 1: Disable Prevent Cross-Site Tracking (works in all Safari modes)
If you’d like to log in without restrictions in both regular and private Safari windows:
Open Settings on your iPhone
Scroll down and tap Safari
Under Privacy & Security, turn Prevent Cross-Site Tracking off (the toggle should be grey, not green)
Scroll down and tap Clear History and Website Data, then confirm
After completing these steps, you should be able to log into Squirt normally in both regular and private/incognito Safari windows.
Option 2: Keep Prevent Cross-Site Tracking enabled
If you prefer to keep Apple’s privacy protections turned on, you still have two ways to log in:
A. Use a regular Safari window
Open Safari (not Private Browsing)
Go to Squirt
Log in as usual - no additional steps needed
B. Use a Private/Incognito Safari window (use Private Browsing)
Open Safari and go to Squirt
Tap the three dots to the right of
squirt.orgin the address bar
Select New Private Tab
In the Private tab, navigate to Squirt.org
Tap the icon to the left of
squirt.orgin the address bar
Select Reduce Privacy Protections
Log in as normal
Note: This setting is temporary. If you open a new Private / Incognito window in the future, you’ll need to select Reduce Privacy Protections again to log in successfully.
