Welcome to the Video Chat Rooms! We want you to enjoy yourself, but Chat Room conduct should be guided by common sense & basic etiquette. 1. Don't post, promote, or distribute content that is illegal. 2. Don't harass or threaten another user. 3. Don't disrupt the flow of chat in chat rooms with abusiveness, pressing one key repeatedly or inputting large streams of text so the screen goes by too fast to read, etc. This is online vandalism, and it ruins the experience for others.
The first time you start sharing/broadcasting your video you will also need to provide permission to the browser.
To broadcast your video:
- Enter one of the Video Chat Rooms
- Slide the video icon across on the top of the screen
- Give permission to the browser to use your video camera by selecting "Allow"**
**this step may be necessary from time to time if you clear your cache/settings and/or change browsers. Not allowing the browser to use your video will disable your ability to broadcast your video in the Video Chat Rooms.
If you have denied access to the browser to use your video but wish to change this, visit the site settings for your browser and select either "Allow" (to enable) or "Ask" (to re-ask permission).

To broadcast your video:
- Enter one of the Video Chat Rooms
- Slide the microphone icon across on the top of the screen
- Give permission to the browser to use your audio by selecting "Allow"**
**this step may be necessary from time to time if you clear your cache/settings and/or change browsers. Not allowing the browser to use your audio will disable your ability to broadcast your audio in the Video Chat Rooms.
If you have denied access to the browser to use your audio but wish to change this, visit the site settings for your browser and select either "Allow" (to enable) or "Ask" (to re-ask permission).

Members with a red video icon are sharing/broadcasting their video for anyone to watch.
To view someone's camera:
- Enter one of the Video Chat Rooms
- Find a user with a red video icon
- Click on the member thumbnail from the list on the right of the screen
- Select "View Cam"

Members can decide if they are going to share/broadcast their video and audio, or just their video on it's own.
For those members that have decided to share their audio:
- Enter one of the Video Chat Rooms
- Find a user with a red video icon
- Click on the member thumbnail from the list on the right of the screen
- Select "View Cam"
- Click on the video
- If you see a volume icon - click on this and it will start their audio. IF you see a crossed out microphone it is indicating that the member if not sharing their audio.
